CPA members who are currently playing on an active 8-Ball or 9-Ball team, are at least 18 years of age, and have attained at least ten League match scores during the past two years in their respective format(s), are eligible to participate in the National Singles Program. At the local level, CPA members compete on a Local Qualifier Board consisting of four to eight members with one player advancing on to regional competition. Qualifier Board winners advance to the Regional level with no additional entry fee and the winners at the regional level advance to the National level again with no additional entry fee.
At the local level, Qualifier Boards are open to players of all skill levels but players will advance to the regional level against only players of their skill level grouping.

The Singles Program also utilizes the Equalizer® handicap system and matches are scored and entered just as they are in league play.
